I have over 20 years experience in the design and production of print publications across the whole field of publishing – campaigning and promotional material, books and periodicals and specialist publications and reports. I have been the editor of a wide variety of publications, commissioning articles and artwork, designing, writing and overseeing the production of in-house and newsstand magazines for a variety of publishers. I have experience in using a variety of publishing software including Adobe InDesign and Quark XPress, although I primarily use Adobe software (including Illustrator and Photoshop) for freelance work. I have experience of producing complex publications to tight deadlines and within budget and of working with printers and mailing houses to deliver the final product.<\/p>\n

Whether it is a company’s annual report, presenting research findings or a souvenir booklet for a special event, I can produce high-quality, specialist publications that have strong visual impact and communicate their message clearly to the intended audience. Whether it is simply laying-up text you’ve already prepared, starting from scratch to write the whole report or simplifying complex information for wider audience, I have the experience and skills to help you look good.<\/p>\n

From one-off advertisements to promotional material in support of complex campaigns, I have experience in the design and delivery of advertising and publicity that mixes strong imagery and smart, effective copy to make sure that you get noticed and get your point across.<\/p>\n

I have completed the design and production of a number of books and booklets in a variety of styles and formats and genres, including fiction, academic and popular non-fiction. I have experience of finding suitable arwork or commissioning artists, working with proofreaders and with printers to ensure the final product is of the highest quality.<\/p>\n
